Growling, I drop my shorts and take my semi-hard cock in hand while bringing her little pink panties to my nose. Fuck—they’re clean. Still, they’re hers, and I’m going to dirty them up.

I breathe them in and grunt, stroking my length. It won’t be long before I nut. My cock is covered in my sweat and beads of precum that should be going in her pretty little hole, but since she wants to run from me, I’ll have to spray her panties with my seed.

Repeatedly, I rub my cock until I call out her name, shooting my load all over her underwear. I take them with me into my bedroom and then hit the shower.

Luckily, I make it over to Dario’s house in twenty-nine minutes so the asshole doesn’t give me shit. We discuss business, and he thankfully leaves June out of the conversation for the night. After the way she feels about him, I can’t let him talk about her. Hell, I don’t believe he’s even met her yet.

When I get home, I don’t bother going to my bedroom. Instead, I slip under her covers and fall asleep in her bed, holding her pillow and breathing in her rosy scent. All night I dream about making love to June until she comes, screaming my name from her pouty lips.

The rest of the weekend, I bust my ass working out, or working in general. Monday can’t come soon enough.

Chapter Eight

June

It’s been a full week since I’ve started here. I’ve made it that long without getting fired or worse. One thing I’ve noticed is that Mr. Conti—or “the boss” as most of the employees refer to him—doesn’t seem to operate a normal company. Several of the men that come through the home carry guns, and everyone is in nice suits. It’s as if they’re mobsters. I can’t quite confirm it, but my suspicions are high.

I don’t say anything and I keep my head down because I’m here to get paid, plus I stupidly find myself attracted to Alessio. Attraction is putting it mildly. I’m becoming obsessed, even though I do my best to avoid him. It’s hard to avoid a man you’re actually living with, although he does make it pretty easy most days.

Why am I interested in a thug? I can’t really say, but the man has a pull on me. Most women could pinpoint it easily: he’s tall, handsome, smart, strong, tough, and that rude mouth of his makes you want to misbehave just so he’ll punish you. Those are just some of the reasons.

Still, I’m here to work and not drool. I work throughout the morning, cleaning four rooms and keeping my head down.

My phone buzzes with a text message from my sister. My boss wants me to work late again this week.

Oh no. I can’t wait until you stop working there. I hate the sleazebag. He was roughed up by some guys last week, and he probably deserved it because he’s crooked as fuck, but it worries me because those people could come after May.

Me too. If it wasn’t out of necessity, I would. Soon, I’ll get down to business and get my career in full swing. How is your day?

Good. I’m just cleaning like crazy. I’m about to go on break and I’ll call you later. I tuck my phone away and carry my supplies to the storage area because I don’t like leaving a mess out.

“Hey, girl,” I say when she answers.

“Hey, June bug.”

I sense a tension in her voice. “How’s it going?”

“Ugh, okay. January and I are looking at places to rent should that asshat raise our rent again.” I showed them the money so we should be good for the time being, which means something’s wrong.

“But my money should be enough to keep us afloat.”

“It’s not just that. He’s a freaking creepy bastard, and it’s only getting worse. I have a sick feeling about him,” January says.

“Has he done something today?” I hate that I’m not there, leaving one of them alone more often than we’d like.

“No, but he’s been smiling at me strangely for the last two days,” my sister says. Since she’s finished school and without me around, there are less people able to keep tabs on her.

“Shit. You need to avoid him at all costs.”

“I’m not the one there at night. You and January are. Well, January is these days. I at least get away.” Actually, I’m here, which feels extremely safe with Alessio in the next room.

“Yes, but you are around those other sleezy people. Although January is used to it. Has that reporter offered to boost her career again?” Her boss is something else, another piece of shit that needs to fall off the face of the earth.

“Not yet,” Jan says, chiming in on the call.

“Good. He’s a pig,” I hiss.
