“Okay.”

She was tempted to tell him now, but decided to wait. “I’ll tell you when we get home.” He took possession of her lips, and she moaned, nearly caving to him.

Her pussy already wet, desperate for him.

Climbing into the car, she went to grab the belt buckle, but he stopped her. “That’s the first time you’ve called it home,” he said, taking her lips once again.

Cupping his cheek, she stroked her thumb across his skin. She’d moved in with him after he’d proposed. There was no way she’d marry him and keep her apartment. “It’s our home.”

“That’s right.”

He kissed her again, and she giggled as he groaned. “I’ve got to get you home.”

Once he climbed into the car, she turned toward him, and watched as he pulled out into traffic.

He took hold of her hand, locking their fingers together. She stared at their hands, and marveled at how different her life now was.

“I don’t even get a hint of what it is you want to talk about?” he asked.

“Nope. Do you love me?” she asked.

“Now that’s an easy one. Yes, I love you.” He glanced toward her, and she smiled. “More than anything, Adora.”

She felt the change inside him, and knew he spoke the truth. He’d done everything that he could to make her feel safe, protected, keeping his parents away from her as he did.

The drive didn’t take that long at all, and in what felt like a matter of minutes they were inside their sitting room in his penthouse suite.

Removing her bag and jacket, she turned toward him, and took a deep breath. “I didn’t want to fall in love with you.”

“Okay, that’s not how I anticipated this going,” he said.

“I thought you were like my father. A rich boy used to getting what he wanted, and I didn’t want to be just another person that you could have. I wanted to be more than that. I tried and failed to fight off these feelings you inspired inside me. It was kind of scary at times.” She licked her lips and took a deep breath.

He moved toward her. “Baby, what’s going on?” He rubbed her shoulders, and she saw the concern in his eyes. “I love you. I was an asshole in the beginning, I know that. I didn’t know what to do. I only knew I wanted you.”

She licked her dry lips, and pulled out of his arms, going to her bag. “I’ve been sick every single morning I’ve woken up.” She handed him the pregnancy test. “And so after you dropped me off today, I decided to get it checked.”

They’d not spoken about pregnancy in a couple of weeks, maybe even longer. She knew what he wanted though.

He stared down at the test. “I don’t know what this means?”

“I’m pregnant, Tobias.” She took another deep breath. “We’re pregnant.”

His gaze widened, and he looked back down at the white stick. “We’re pregnant?”

“Yes.”

The smile on his face had her heart pounding. He picked her up in his arms and swung her around. “We’re pregnant, baby.” He put her down on her feet. Kissing her lips, he then bent down. “That means we’ve got to keep an eye on Mommy now, and we’ve got to make sure she rests and eats right.” Tears filled her eyes as he stood up. “Why are you crying?” he asked.

“I didn’t know if you’d be happy about this. Everything is different now.”

He wrapped his arms around her, gripping her ass, and squeezing the cheeks. “I still want you pregnant, Adora. I know I’m going to be an ass, so having kids will make it easier for you to stay with me.”

“You’re going to use your kids as bait?” she asked, chuckling.

“I’ve got a feeling I won’t have to.” He rubbed his cock against her stomach. “When did I get so fucking lucky?” The love she saw in his gaze lightened the weight in her chest.

He loved her. She had no doubt.

“I’m the lucky one,” she said.

“You know what this means, right?”

She shook her head. “What does it mean?”

“It means that we’ve got to go to Vegas and get married. Then we’ve got to start hunting for a house because no kids of mine are being born in a penthouse suite.”

“You want a mansion?” she asked.

“Nope. A small place out in the country with a garden, a pool, a couple of bedrooms for all of our kids. Don’t forget you’ve still got to graduate from college. Just because you’re having my kid, that is no reason to slack off. I expect amazing grades, impeccable results.”

She began to laugh. Tobias believed in her. He believed in their future, and the potential she had.

“Let’s not forget the pool table,” she said, remembering one of his desires of fucking her on a pool table.

He groaned. “I’ve already got the one I want picked out.”
