Her mind seemed to go into shock as the glittering pleasure rushed through her like a storm. Her hips bucked of their own volition, the heels of her feet digging into his back. Flames burned her from the inside out. Every nerve ending was alive, raw and aware of him. It felt as if a million electrical impulses sparked over her skin. Tension gathered into a tight, coiled knot. Her breasts ached and her nipples burned, as if he’d lit matches to the tips.

The throbbing ache between her legs became a roaring fire. An inferno burning out of control. A wildfire running away with her. She needed . . . Was desperate.

You have to stop before I go insane. She was sure she would go insane if he stopped.

I waited a lifetime for this. It came out a growl. Possessive. I told you I needed this.

That rasping growl in her mind, along with his admission, only added to the leaping flames, making them burn higher. Hotter. Making that coil in her core tighten to the point that she thought her mind was unraveling.

I won’t survive. I’m really not going to.

Then neither one of us will. His mouth and tongue and teeth were relentless. Merciless. But he was gentle. So gentle. Tender. She couldn’t say there wasn’t care and love mixed with lust and desire. She just couldn’t tell where one started and the other left off. The implosion building in her was big, and she knew if she allowed it to detonate, there would never be a Maya without Gorya. They would never be separate.

Baby. We’re already woven together. The same heart. The same soul. The same skin. They broke us to pieces, and when we put our pieces together, we became one. You. Wraith. Me. Rogue.

She had to believe in something for survival. In someone. She hadn’t been enough to save Wraith and herself. She could never have saved Gorya on her own. Her childhood had damaged her beyond repair—until Gorya.

He was taking her apart and putting her back together. Giving her life, but seriously, this fire was too hot. Both might burn in the inferno. Her gaze was riveted to him—to that beloved face. Despite being gentle, his mouth was more aggressive, more determined to collect from her every drop of what he considered his. His tongue plunged into her again and again, drawing out hot liquid and finding secret sensitive places to stimulate until she was bucking in his hand, only the palm on her belly keeping her in place. His mouth suckled and bright, hot pleasure radiated through her like rockets to every part of her body.

Hold on, baby, just a little longer. I need this.

She had to find a way to give him whatever it was he needed, but it was impossible to think clearly, not when the earth tilted and spun. She couldn’t see anything but those sensual lines carved deep into his face. Sin incarnate. He wanted complete surrender from her. She knew that was what he was asking. If she gave him that she would be giving up that last little guarded piece of herself. She wanted to give him everything.

Panic warred with her need to please him. To unite them once and for all. To taste nirvana. To allow herself to shatter and trust him to pick up the pieces just as he’d done before. She wanted to give him that, wanted him to know he was hers and she would do anything, stand by him always.

She bunched the sheets in her fists, holding as tight as she could, trying desperately to breathe while he continued to devour her like a man on a mission. Leisurely. Savoring her. Taking her further than she thought it possible for anyone to go. The tension coiled, winding tighter and tighter until the fierce need was growing so out of control, she grew afraid.

Gorya. Fear edged her mind. Touched his. She reached for him, her body shuddering and writhing beneath his hands and mouth. Desperate for something only he could give her.

Gorya raised his head to look at her, his eyes nearly silver with love and darker blue with desire, his beard gleaming in the light spilling from the moon. Her heart stuttered.

Then come for me, baby. Soar free.

He bent his head to her again and she felt his tongue flick and dance. For one moment her back arched and her bottom nearly came out of his hand, and then the flames rolled through her, waves of them, streaks of colors bursting behind her eyes and a million fireworks exploding.

The orgasm went on forever, aftershocks rocking her while heat rolled in her veins, and she was vaguely aware of Gorya’s beard on the insides of her thighs, the friction adding to the waves of sensation rocking through her. His hands were gentle, his voice soothing, raspy, loving, but even though he was in her mind, she wasn’t completely aware of what he was saying to her.
