“But to save my boy, I’m going to tell him to change clothes so we can drive to civilization and have a quiet, romantic dinner with just the two of us.” Smacking my ass to make his point, he hummed when I sucked in a breath and rocked against him again. “Yes, we’re going to have lots of privacy and I’m going to get to know my mate on our first date.”
Our first boyfriend date or our first Dom and boy date?
Shoot. I was going to have to ask.
“Daddy?” I’d wanted to say Grady but that hadn’t come out. So I ignored the slipup and just kept going so I didn’t change my mind. “Um, is it a regular mate date, kind of like boyfriends, or is it a Dom and boy date?”
Daddy didn’t mind being Daddy and he also didn’t seem to mind what might’ve been a stupid question. He actually sounded like he thought it was a reasonable one because he made soft thinking sounds and sighed. “Well, that is up for debate, so please don’t take this as my deciding what we’re doing and that’s it.”
That didn’t help me figure out what he wanted.
“Okay?” My slightly puzzled response got another quiet laugh out of him. “Sorry, I didn’t know what to say.”
“Because it was confusing.” Sighing again, he seemed to brush off whatever he was thinking because he sat straighter and hugged me tight. “Okay, a response that makes more sense.”
He was the cutest Daddy I’d ever seen.
“I can see this going a lot of different directions, but I’m not going to make one definitive order even though I’m your Dom.” He paused, probably to give me time to question him, but when I just nodded, he kept going. “I’m not sure what the right balance for us will be, but I’m going to aim to land somewhere in the middle of boyfriend and Dom.”
That didn’t sound bad.
“So…so less than lifestyle kind of Dom but more intense than a boyfriend?” When he nodded and kissed my head, I felt my stress coming down. “So…so when I’m getting ready, I should probably send you my limits lists?”
I wasn’t one hundred percent sure on that, but he moaned. “Oh yes.”
And I was back to blushing. “Daddy.”
His laughter said he wasn’t sorry at all. “Have I told you how cute you are?”
When I nodded, he chuckled again. “Have I told you how hard you make me when you look that cute?”
I was never going to go back to my regular color if he kept that up.
I knew a groan wasn’t an answer, but it took me a couple of tries before I could get words out. “No.”
Well, one word was better than none.
Sucking in a dramatic breath, he groaned and pouted. “Oh, that’s tragic. I’m going to have to spend the entire night making sure you know exactly what you do to me.”
I was never going to make it through dinner without ending up under the table…and not for the dirty reasons part of me was imagining.
“Daddy, that’s…you’re just…” Words weren’t coming but he didn’t mind because he liked finishing my sentences for me.
“I’m just amazing? That’s so cute?” He made a happy sound and wiggled like a kid. “I know. You’re a very lucky boy.”
Ugh.
But instead of working up the nerve to complain, I squeaked when he gave one cheek a light spank. “But it’s not time to tell me how wonderful I am. You’re going to get dressed up for our nice night out, and I’m going to head out to the trailer to put it in its spot and hook it up to the house.”
Nodding, I thought it was safe to sit up but that was a strategic error.
As soon as he saw my face, he gave me an innocent smile. “Remember, as you get all clean, no playing with yourself because orgasms belong to Daddy and your special toys belong to Daddy too.”
Crashing back into him barely got a huff, but he patted my back and made an understanding sound as I hid my face against his shoulder again. “Oh, I know how hard that is, but feel free to explain what you think is fair as long as you’re willing to talk about it in full sentences.”
Shit.
That was definitely cheating.
Kenzie or Lorne should’ve warned me about how sneaky Daddies were…they’d definitely played down the danger of having a smart Daddy.
Chapter 14
Grady
“The waiter has to think we’re the most boring couple he’s ever seen.” I didn’t have to look up from my phone to know that Alick was trying not to smile.
“It’s your fault.” He huffed and scrolled slowly down the page he was studying on his phone. “I didn’t get a chance to read your list on the way over.”
It turned out that the perfect way to make him forget he was nervous and embarrassed was to drive him crazy.
