Being the glue that held everything together would get stressful at some point, and I wanted us to be a triangle, not an Oreo cookie with me as the filling.

That would be too taxing. What if I melted?

Cohen huffed, but he couldn’t seem to argue with me. “That’s not the point.”

It kind of was.

“I should be able to start driving back mid-next week if everything goes right.” And if my landlord wasn’t a dick.

But at this point, I didn’t care if he kept my deposit as long as I got to go back home.

“Things are really going that smoothly?” Cohen looked appropriately skeptical, but I was glad I could ease some of his fears.

“Yes, they’re packing up the storage room tomorrow afternoon, and that’s the last really big thing.” I’d already started getting my mail switched around and things like that while I’d been stuck on the train, so most of my to-do list was manageable and consisted of a lot of random errands.

“If you need anything, I expect you to let me know.” Cohen meant with the move, I knew that, but what I really needed was fun attention…and an orgasm.

“Yes, Sir.” I let the words purr out enough to make sure he knew where my mind was going, and his smirk said he was just as smart as I’d always known he was. “But right now, I really need to know how your time with Ian has been going.”

His laugh was low and sexy this time as he narrowed his gaze and shook his head. “Naughty pup.”

Yay.

Yes, I was.

“I just want to hear that the two special men in my life are connecting and…and establishing intimacy.” I gave him a big innocent smile that said I wasn’t thinking about sex at all, but Cohen just rolled his eyes.

“Intimacy, huh?”

Nodding eagerly, I gave him a happy sigh. “Cuddling and sharing and building connections, you know?”

All kinds of wonderfully naughty connections.

Cohen snorted, shaking his head. “Naughty pup. Should I ask you where your other hand is?”

Thankfully I could answer that without lying and I held it up for the camera—no touching the fun bits here. I wanted a connection with my Dom, not a solo cuddling session. “I’ve been very good…and I deserve a reward.”

His smirk sent a shiver through me and as he snuggled lower against his pillows, I knew he was going to say something perfect. “You have been working very hard.”

The low, sexy tone to his voice made me shiver again, but it was the heated, hungry look that he gave me that made my dick jump in my boxer briefs. It’d been a long day and I’d been up early, so I was going to be lazy and do nothing for the rest of the night.

Well, nothing but hopefully get a treat from my sexy Dom…and maybe get a bath because I had a kick-ass hotel room.

But now it was definitely time for my reward, and I could see my treat getting closer when he nodded and his voice got even sexier. “I think a reward for both of us is in order, especially since Ian is at his sleepover tonight and I’m going to be tortured by Preston before sleeping alone.”

Yay.

Well, not the alone part, but the rest was in my favor.

“You should definitely have a reward too, Sir.” I was aiming for sweet, but I couldn’t stop ogling the way his hand was stroking his chest. “You’ve…you’ve been very good to Ian this week.”

I had it on good authority that he’d been a very sexy Dom and a very sweet Uncle Cohen.

That got a soft chuckle out of him, and he smiled as he talked about our cute third. “Did he tell you how he wanted to order off the kids’ menu at dinner last night and nearly died when the waiter realized he was a little?”

Nodding, I laughed. “Yes, but he also mentioned a lunch where you were naughty and kept touching him under the table.”

They’d definitely had too many meals out this week, but junk food aside, they seemed to have had fun.

Cohen flashed me a teasing grin, but there was just a hint of embarrassment that was cute. “That was not my most well-thought-out plan, but we didn’t get caught.”

“Oh, I’m not criticizing. I’m saying we need to play that game when I get home.” I waggled my eyebrows and gave him my best naughty cartoon villain grin. “I’m looking forward to it.”

He laughed, looking sheepish but excited. “We’ll see.”

Hmm. It seemed like he enjoyed the game but was worried about Ian. I could fix that.

“Have Preston and Eli ever taken you to a bar they like? BJ’s?” I grinned when he looked confused and shook his head. “I think you should go out for drinks after dinner and see if that’s the atmosphere you think Ian would appreciate for some…let’s call it family play time.”
