Pain coursed through me. “I just got out of a bad situation. It’s not my fault. It’s yours.”

“Mine?”

It was. It was his fault. I was deciding.

“I didn’t—I didn’t want you either, you know.” A tear leaked out of me, sliding down my cheek, sliding to his thumb.

“What are you talking about?”

Thump.

Could I tell him?

Could I love him more if I told him?

It would make everything more messed up.

But he loved me too. As soon as he said those words, everything was cemented. I wouldn’t have been able not to—“I love you too, you know.”

He went still. His eyes now glittering. A whole new gentleness entering them. “Ramsay,” he murmured, as if heartbroken. “I didn’t know you loved me back.”

“Yeah. I do. So it’s all your fault actually.”

My heart picked up.

Thump.

I looked down, my words whispered, “I love you too.”

Thump.

He sighed, pulling me into his arms.

This was all so seriously messed up.

He held me, and I held him, and I didn’t want to leave him again.

His voice was rough. “We got tonight.”

I didn’t want just tonight.

I wanted forever.

“Tonight,” he said again. His head leaned down. His lips found mine, and it was different.

There was more feeling.

More love.

More warmth.

More tenderness.

More magic.

I’d fallen in love again.

And I was going to lose him.

I stood on my tiptoes, wound my arms around his neck, and I kissed him back harder.

His eyes flashed before he bent down, grabbed my legs under my ass, and turned, walking us out of the room, still kissing me.

To the elevator.

We kept kissing.

To the lobby.

He carried me out, his mouth never leaving mine, exploring me at the same time.

Someone yelled, “Get a room!” Then laughed. There was a whole bunch of laughing. Some cheering too. I heard a few female sighs.

To his vehicle.

He drove us out of there.

He thought he was going to save me, but I needed to figure out how to save him.

It was my turn.

SCOUT

“You love me, huh?” Ramsay asked, her voice raspy as I was moving inside her.

I ran my hand down her arm, needing more. Always needing more. Always knowing I would need more. It’d never be enough. I knew that now.

Figured it out too late.

I raked a hand through her hair, tilting her head back to see me better. I kept my rhythm, but I lifted so I could see her better. I liked having sex like this. I liked having sex like this with Ramsay, only Ramsay.

We were making love.

I knew my feelings, finally admitted them to myself. I needed to admit what this was too.

“You love me too.”

She grinned, her eyes glossing as I went to the hilt and held there, grinding against her. She panted. “God, I love that.” She lifted up, raking her hands down my back. Her nails dug in before she fell back with a gasp, arching her back. “Who’s going to do this when you leave?”

“No one,” the growl erupted from me, and I took hold of both her wrists, pinning them above her head. It brought our bodies flush, and I held still inside her.

Her eyes lit up. “Don’t like that?”

I just growled in response. “No one touches you. No one except me.” I put her wrists together and freed one hand to move down and grip her hip. I used it as an anchor as I reared back and thrust inside, going long, deep, and slow. So slow.

She began panting again. “You can’t go then. You don’t want anyone else to have me then—”

“Enough,” I clipped out. “No one touches you but me.” I thrust in. “You got that?” And out. “No one. Ever.” Inside. “No one looks at you. No one thinks about you.” Out. “No one but me.” My hand moved to her clit.

I moved over her, rubbing, and felt her exploding around me.

I ducked down, my lips grazing her shoulder. “You’re mine, Williams. Only mine.” Then I came on a deep groan.

I just collapsed beside her when a door slammed downstairs. “Scout! Scout!”

Ramsay tensed.

“It’s my uncle.” I smoothed a hand over her stomach before pushing up. “The fuck, though?”

Footsteps thundered upstairs, coming to my room.

I jumped up, prepared to meet my uncle.

Suddenly, he stopped. “Are you in there?”

I shared a glance with Ramsay, who’d drawn a blanket over her.

“Scout, are you in there? I’m not going to ask against before I—”

I wrenched open the door.

Ramsay yelped as something hit my side.

I grabbed it, using it to cover me before I moved so he could see me. “What do you want? Kinda busy.”

He was glaring at me, his hands holding a letter in front of him before he took me in. He ripped the paper in half, and scathingly said, “Get dressed and get your ass downstairs.” He turned, stalking off. “Ramsay too.”

He was pacing in a tight circle when we got there, finding him in the kitchen.
