“I wouldn’t want you if you were the last man on the Earth,” she growls in my ear. With her body this close I can smell her floral scent, the smell filling my nostrils, making my cock hard, and my mind foggy with lust.
“Says the one who let me finger fuck her pretty pussy last night.” I lick my lips at the memory as we make it to the car. I open the passenger side door and help her into the seat.
“Let you? I told you no!” She struggles against me, and I sink my teeth into her earlobe as a soft whimper passes her lips.
“Stop fighting me, you’ll end up pulling your stitches.”
“Let me go, and I won’t fight anymore.”
“It’s never happening, Grace. Never. You’re mine. Forever.”
“I hate you,” she huffs out, and I release her ear lobe, sucking on the tender flesh for a moment to ease the pain before I pull away.
“You don’t hate me, you’re just scared, and I get why. I haven’t been very forthcoming but there's a reason for that.”
“You’re delusional and need medication if you think I’m going anywhere with you.” She isn’t getting it, and I don’t want to scare her, but I’m done telling her how this is going to be. I suppose the easiest way would be to show her, to prove to her how much her body craves me. Her heart is half way there, I know Grace enough to know that she never stopped loving me. She’s overthinking all of this, I just need to get her body to submit to me, and that smart mouth of hers to remain shut for a few minutes.
“Try and run and I will find you. I hunt people down for a living.” I ghost my knuckles against her smooth cheek. “It would be a pleasure to hunt you down and make you submit to me.” She slaps my hand away and I chuckle. She’s changed so much, and yet not at all. Fuck, it’s going to be a pleasure to get acquainted with her body all over again.

I’m simmering in my own anger, biting the inside of my cheek to stop myself from lashing out at the arrogant, too big for his own head, asshole who kidnapped me from my close to perfect life. I’m not just angry, I’m furious. North Woods is the last place I want to be, even more so with Luke.
It brings back too many bad memories and makes the past I want to forget more prevalent. How can I forget with Luke back in my life? Luke who is sitting in the driver’s seat, driving along without a care in the world. I stare at him for a long second out of the corner of my eye, hating the way my body warms, and my womb clenches every time I look at him.
Why does he have to be so gorgeous? His body resembles a Greek god, his muscles rippling and cut from stone. I think back to the way he looked when he undressed in the bathroom right in front of me. His abs, and that perfect V carved out leading down to a cock that seemed bigger than before. Do those things grow?
I tried not to react too much when he said he hunts people for a living, but in reality, that statement shook me to the core. He hunts them down? Like deer in a field?
This is just another reason as to why I shouldn’t trust him. Clearly, he’s still doing someone’s dirty work, and I want nothing to do with that. Still, my heart refuses to let go of him. Every time I look at him, I see that teenage boy I fell so helplessly in love with. The boy who gave me my first kiss, who took my virginity under the stars, who worshipped me and gave me my first taste of a happily ever after. Back then I thought it was just us, I was so naive, so stupid.
But Luke isn’t that boy anymore. We are two different people now and there’s no getting back to who we used to be. I’ve closed every single door leading to my old life, and I refuse to open them, refuse to remember because the pain, and the heartache is too great.
Fear of the unknown causes a knot of worry to form in my gut and I watch silently as we drive through North Woods. Luke, of course, remains cool even when we pull on to a dirt road. Great his house is secluded in the woods. That will make escaping him that much harder, but not impossible.
Once we reach the end of the driveway a small cottage comes into view. He parks the car and kills the engine.
“Welcome to our home, Gracie,” Luke announces with a grin that shows off his perfectly straight white teeth. Our home. I’m actually starting to think he might be crazy. Mentally insane. “I bought this place while ago for us. I always hoped one day you would live here with me.”
