“It’s about finished,” Shawn answered with a smile. “I contacted a chapel in Las Vegas and they sent me a list of their available dates. Elvis can marry us six weeks from today. Are you guys free to come along? We want everyone to celebrate with us.”

“We wouldn’t miss it for the world,” Holden told him, and Shawn nodded his thanks.

I looked at Zack; he was Master and made our plans and schedules. He shot me a wink and told Shawn, “Neither would we. Six weeks sounds perfect.”

“Great,” Shawn replied, and then his smile turned a little naughty. “You know Zack, they had two back-to-back services available that day. You and your pup could get married too.” He looked at me and asked, “What do you think of that, Blake?”

My heart pounded in my chest. Of course I’d thought about marrying my Master. “I think it sounds amazing.” But those types of decisions weren’t up to me. I quickly looked at Zack, hoping that I didn’t overstep any boundaries or put him on the spot. “I mean…it’s obviously up to you…it’s okay if you don’t want to. I don’t need to get married to know that you love me. But I do want to marry you…again, if you want to…” Well, shit. I always got tongue tied when I got nervous.

But Master didn’t look upset. He just gave me a sweet smile and patted my thigh to calm me down. “It just so happens that I’ve been thinking about it a lot,” he replied, and my heart zoomed even faster. “In fact…” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a simple gold ring that matched my collar. “I’ve been carrying this around for a while.” He looked at Shawn and added, “I didn’t want to step on your moment.”

Shawn waved his hand. “Oh please, I’m not that big of an attention whore.” Holden rolled his eyes at Shawn’s words, making Ollie and Frankie chuckle. I, on the other hand, could barely breathe. Is this really happening? How is everyone so chill right now? And how long has he had that thing in his pocket?!

“But if you’re sure…” Zack started, and Shawn nodded his assurance.

“Do it!” Ollie cheered, clapping his hands together. “Do it, Zack!”

Master turned his smile on me and offered me the ring on his palm. “Blake, I love you with my whole heart, and promise to dedicate my life to taking care of you and making you happy. Will you marry me?”

“Yes!” I yelled too loudly, but my friends didn’t mind. They all applauded and yelled too, giving their congratulations as Zack placed the ring on my trembling finger.

“Double wedding in Vegas!” Frankie announced, and my face exploded with a grin. Neither of our relationships were ‘typical’, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to cement them than with an atypical Las Vegas wedding by Elvis. And I couldn’t imagine better people to spend it with than my friends, my brothers; my family.

Zack

“Are you doing okay?” I asked Blake, who was sitting in the passenger seat as I drove us home. He was ecstatic after I proposed at dinner; he, Frankie and Shawn all talked excitedly about the wedding venue as we ate our chocolate lava cakes. Then I offered to do dishes alone while Ollie and Holden jumped into the conversation, making plans about things we could do together in Vegas. But Blake had been a little quiet throughout most of the drive.

“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be quiet; I’m just thinking about everything. I can’t believe this is actually happening! I wasn’t expecting it at all.”

“Is it too soon?” I asked worriedly.

“No!” he shouted, making me jump. “Sorry, no, it’s not too soon. I would have married you the day I met you! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Zack.”

“I feel the same way. When Shawn mentioned having a double ceremony, I got excited and had to ask you at that moment. I’m sorry that I didn’t wait and make it more special for you.”

“But it was special! You asked me in front of our best friends. I’m glad they were there to share the moment with us.”

Blake truly was the best person I’d ever known. He didn’t need pomp and circumstance or fancy proposals. He just needed me. And I needed him like I needed air. I couldn't make it in this life without him.

"Well, I've got something very special for you inside," I told him as I pulled into our driveway. He flashed a smile that told me he knew sexy times were ahead.

I grabbed the carrying case from the backseat and decided to leave the leftovers and food containers for later; I had more important things to take care of.

I held Blake's hand as we went inside, and I led him straight to our bedroom. "Stand right there," I told him, pointing beside the bed. He stood statue-still as I placed the bag on the mattress and unzipped it, retrieving his hood.
