“Fuck, Lamb,” he mutters, putting just a breath between us as he drops his forehead to mine, wanting to take his time and truly savor the feeling of my walls so tight around him, something we’ve both been so desperately craving since the moment we met.

My arm hooks around his neck, holding him close, and as I clench my walls around him, his gaze snaps to mine, fire burning within his intense stare. His lips begin to pull into a wicked grin, and with that, he kisses me with everything he’s got and finally starts to move.

He’s dominant and intense, each thrust delivered with both a fierce determination and the sweetest tenderness. His hand grips my ass as we quickly grow sweaty, his lips not once stopping against mine.

Zade takes me deep, working me just right as he rolls his hips, his hands forever roaming over my body and setting me alight. The intensity burns between us, gasping for air as my pussy shatters around him, taking everything he’s got to offer.

Then just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get any better, he reaches down between us, his fingers gently pinching my clit and sending hot bursts of electricity pulsing through me. “Oh God,” I cry out as he takes the opportunity to drop his lips to the base of my throat, making my eyes roll in my head. “ZADE!”

“Fuck, Lamb. That’s right,” he praises. “Take it all.”

God. I’d take it all and more if I could.

That familiar build returns and before I even get the chance to warn him, I come hard, an intense, crippling orgasm. It rocks through my body, and I cry out his name again, my walls convulsing around him, squeezing him tight as my eyes roll in the back of my head.

“Oh God,” I pant, feeling the high continue to wreck me, making me jolt and spasm beneath him. Then with a delicious groan that will forever change me, Zade comes right along with me, emptying himself into me as he slowly rocks back and forth, allowing me to ride out the high as I hold onto him.

He drops his forehead back to mine, both of us panting as we try to catch our breath, and I realize just how right I was—I am unequivocally in love with Zade DeVil, and despite his reluctance to say the words out loud, he’s in love with me too.

Keeping his weight on me, he comes down, our legs tangled as one as his fingers brush my hair off my face, both of us covered in a light sweat. “I didn’t know it could be that good,” he murmurs in my ear, his lips brushing across my lobe.

My arms tighten around him, and I hold on with everything I’ve got, terrified of the moment he inevitably pulls away and tells me how we shouldn’t have done that. “That’s how it’s supposed to feel,” I tell him, not needing to clarify my meaning—that this is how it’s supposed to feel when you’re with someone who matters, not just some woman you met on the street, or your friend’s twin sister who you see as nothing more than a convenient screw.

Zade nods, and I feel the exact moment he starts getting lost in his head. “Come on,” I tell him, reluctantly shoving him off and rolling him onto his back before curling into his side and hooking my thigh up over his hip. My fingers trail over his chest, desperately trying to keep him from sinking back into the darkness that lives inside his mind. “It’s been a long night. Go to sleep and then you can give me whatever lecture you’re coming up with in the morning.”

“There’s no lecture, Lamb,” he says, his hand settling on my thigh.

“I’ll believe that when I see it,” I say, a fond smile stretching across my face, unsure if we’ve just crossed a line we can’t come back from. After all, Zade set the boundary for a reason.

His thumb roams back and forth over my thigh, and within seconds, the exhaustion of the day catches up with me, and as I listen to the steady rhythm of Zade’s heart, I drift off into unconsciousness, terrified of what the upcoming days could bring.

Chapter 21

OAKLEY

A heavy arm drops over my bruised ribs, and my eyes snap open as pain rocks through my body. “Ahh, fuck,” I mutter, scrunching my face and trying to breathe through the pain, realizing Zade rolled over in his sleep, and in his attempt to hold me, he nailed me right where it hurts.

The big bastard.

Though what does it say about me if I can’t handle an accidental rib touch? Zade’s going to tear my chest open in less than forty-eight hours, and I can only hope that I pass out from the pain and die before having to suffer through too much agony. Hell, I doubt the bylaws say anything about me not taking a few sedatives beforehand. I mean, just what kind of state of aliveness do I need to be in for this?
