“Don’t be like that, baby, I’m just being friendly.”

I look at his fingers gripped around my wrist. “And I’m warning you, get your goddamn hand off me.”

He throws his hands up in surrender. “Okay, okay, no need to be a bitch about it.”

I ignore him and finish placing the drinks on the table.

Next thing I know, Mr. Grabby slaps my ass and grabs a handful of cheek.

“Juicy,” he laughs, squeezing it tight.

Oh hell no.

I swing around and throw a vodka and soda at his face.

“What the fuck?” He shakes off the liquid. “You fucking cunt, this is an Armani suit.”

“And this real estate is a no trespassing zone, asshole.”

He raises his hand to slap me, but I slap him first, right in the nuts, and he bends over with a wince.

“No means no, asshole.”

His friends start laughing at him. Which only infuriates him further.

“Fucking slut…”

Dario appears out of nowhere. “Is there a problem here?”

He glares at me before turning his attention back to Mr. Grabby.

“Yes, your waitress is a cunt. I want her fired.”

“My apologies, Mr. Donnington. I’ll send a new server over right away, and I’ll make sure they bring you a complimentary bottle of champagne.”

Mr. Grabby glares at me. “Yes, do that. And make sure she is more professional than this slut.”

That’s twice he’s called me a slut.

A third, and I’m going to go to my locker, pull out my last remaining Gucci handbag, remove my gun, and bring it back here so I can shoot him in the face.

Not really, but fantasizing about it sure as shit beats standing here listening to his name calling.

Dario yanks me by the arm and drags me all the way into his office.

“Do you have any idea who the fuck that was?” he fumes.

“Yeah, an entitled prick who thought he could put his hands on me without my permission.”

Dario actually rolls his eyes. Which infuriates me.

He really has no care for any of his staff.

“That was Alastair Donnington. Tech magnate. Worth a billion fucking dollars.”

“And I’m Bianca, a broke waitress who doesn’t have two pennies to rub together. What’s your point?” I put my hands on my hips. “Or are you saying because the asshole has money, it allows him to do what he likes to me?”

I’m furious.

How many other girls here have endured this bullshit?

He scoffs. “That’s rich coming from you.”

“Excuse me?”

“Talking about entitled pricks, exactly how much of daddy’s money did you spend before Domenico De Kysa put a bullet in his fucking brain?”

My fingers curl into a ball.

I’m two seconds away from punching this loser in the nose when Massimo says his name sharply. “Dario.”

We both swing around to find him standing in the doorway.

“Don Massimo,” Dario says, his tough-guy demeanor suddenly vaporizing like smoke in the presence of his boss. Immediately, I realize he is afraid of him. And I kind of don’t blame him. Standing in the doorway in a suit that fits perfectly over his muscular frame, Massimo cuts a powerful figure. A man you don’t want to fuck with.

A strange delight flutters in my belly, and I’m suddenly wondering what he looks like under that custom-made suit.

All hard lines and slabs of muscle, I’m sure.

“To what do we owe the pleasure?” Dario asks nervously.

“This is my club.”

“Of course, it’s just we don’t usually see you here on the weekends, especially not on a Sunday night.”

Massimo ignores him. “What’s happening here?”

“I’m sorry you had to witness this. But Bianca has just insulted an important guest.”

“Is that so?” Massimo slides his dark eyes from Dario to me. “Exactly how did she do that?”

“Threw a drink at him and then…”

Massimo’s gaze lingers on me. “And then?”

“She hit him in the groin.”

Massimo doesn’t remove his eyes from me. “Is that so?”

Oh crap, he’s going to fire me.

But even with that in mind, I lift my chin defiantly. “Yes, I did those things.”

I can almost feel Dario’s glee at my admission. He wants Massimo to set me alight just so he can watch me burn, and it’s got him excited.

“She’s trouble, Don Mas—”

“Leave us,” Massimo interrupts.

“But—”

Massimo finally rips his gaze from me and gives Dario a dangerous look. “I said get the fuck out.”

Dario pales beneath his vicious glare and obeys. “Of course, I’ll be out in the club should you need me.”

He practically bows at his boss before retreating out of the room, leaving Massimo and I alone.

“So you threw a drink and punched one of my guests in the cock?”

The way he says cock hits me right between my thighs.

“Yes.”

“Why?”

Again, I raise my chin. “I’m not desperate enough to put up with someone putting their hands on me without permission.”

“And I am not the kind of man who would expect that of you.”

“I warned him. He didn’t listen.”

“So you resorted to violence.”

“Sometimes in those circumstances, that’s all you’ve got left.”
