“Are you bored?” I ask her with a laugh.

“No, just thinking.” Her eyes widen when she sees the spread on the plate. She pops a grape into her mouth. “Wow, thanks.”

“You just enjoy.”

“Where are you going?”

“I was just going to give you some time alone.”

Her brow creases. “I don’t want to be alone. I’ll be alone all the time after we get back to Seattle and we can’t spend the nights together anymore. I want you to stay.”

“You have a good point.” There’s a small bench tucked under the vanity, so I grab that, set it by the tub, and sit.

“Have some food,” she offers. “I can’t eat it all.”

The water laps tantalizingly over her breasts and shoulders. Sitting here in the candlelight, I’m not sure if she’s ever been more beautiful.

Then again, I think that every day.

“Have you heard any more from your dad?” I ask.

“Not since you told him to mind his own business.” She grins over at me. “You know, I don’t think anyone has ever spoken to him like that in his life. It was marvelous.”

“It was necessary.” And I know that once I get back home, I’ll have to set up a meeting with him so I can declare my intent to marry his daughter. “I’m glad that he’s backed off.”

“You know, it was the weirdest thing.” She sips her wine thoughtfully. “He’s never taken much of an interest in my personal life in the past. Even when I was pregnant with Caleb, he didn’t really care. Obviously, he didn’t like Caleb’s father because he didn’t come from a good family, and he was poor as fuck, but he didn’t try to talk me out of anything. Well, he didn’t try hard, anyway.”

I nod, listening.

“So, for him to suddenly decide to try to set me up with one of his single, rich friends is just strange. It’s not like we need to align our rich family with another to carry on the family name, or something stupid like that.”

“Maybe he was bored,” I suggest.

“Could be. I don’t think my dad is a very happy person. He’s always flitting from one idea to the next, now that he’s semi-retired. Anyway, it’s been nice to have him back off.”

She chews happily on a peanut butter cup and leans back in the water, closing her eyes in contentment. Now, the water slides over her nipples, just barely revealing them at the surface, and I can’t resist reaching over to gently glide my fingertips over one of them.

London doesn’t open her eyes, but she hums happily in her throat.

As London bows her back, I lean forward and pull a nipple into my mouth, sucking gently while my hand roams under the water, down her belly, to her core.

She pulls her knees up as she gasps, but she doesn’t tell me to stop. Her hand dives into my hair and fists there, as if holding me right where I am, and I push my fingers through her folds, loving how slick she is, despite being in the bath.

“Shit, Drew,” she whispers. I pull up so I can watch her flushed face. She bites her lower lip, and when I push a finger inside of her, she moans.

“You’re the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen in my life.” I lean over to kiss her cheek and down to her ear. “Your body was made for me. Look at how beautifully you respond to my touch.”

She whimpers, and I push another finger inside of her while pressing my thumb to her hard clit. She gasps, arches her head back, and opens wider for me.

“That’s right, give it to me.”

“Holy shit,” she mutters as her body begins to tighten, and then her pussy is squeezing around my fingers as she succumbs to her orgasm.

“There you go,” I croon. “You’re amazing, baby.”

She’s catching her breath, and her eyes are open now, shining with lust as she watches me.

“I told you I was going to take advantage of these four days,” I remind her.

“Thank God you’re good at keeping promises.”

“No wonder Erin hasn’t skied much,” London says as we stroll along what’s called Central Avenue in Bitterroot Valley. “This town is just too cute.”

We decided to forgo the ski hill today, and instead, we made love all morning before finally getting around to leaving the condo to explore the little resort town in search of food and to check it all out.

“And they have good pizza,” I add. “That Old Town Pizza joint was legit.”

“You ate an entire large all by yourself.”

I kiss her temple. “You made me work up an appetite this morning.”

“Sure, it was all my fault.” She sticks out her lower lip in a pout. It’s been fun to be out with her today. She’s more carefree and a little silly.

“I’d say it was a joint effort,” I reply with a laugh.
