“You’re right,” I state.

“What?” She blinks, clearly she wasn’t expecting me to agree with her. But she’s correct, she is as famous as me, and I do get off on controlling her.

I feel like a caveman, wanting to toss her over my shoulder and keep her in my den. I grin, grabbing her small wrist to bring her close, her breathing a small pant, as her hard nipples burn into my chest.

Yeah, there’s something about her. She’s a perfectionist, career driven, and a musical genius, but it’s more than all that.

Chemistry.

It’s off the charts with her, which is unusual with me. I like to fuck and go, not that I’m opposed to having a partner, they just never seem to last. If I’m honest, I’ve never wanted to consume and control a woman like her in my life.

“Do I have herpes? Or an STD?” she blurts out, and for a second I just stare at her.

“What?”

“Herpes? The clap? Chlamydia? Fill in the blank, do I?” Her gold eyes are glistening as if she wants to cry but is trying hard not to.

“I don’t have herpes…how about you?” I murmur, almost ready to start laughing because she gets so fired up, it’s too fun to aggravate her. Also, let’s be honest, it’s a little late now to be exchanging responsible information. Although, what the hell was I thinking? I always wrap it up.

“I’ve only been with one other guy, but since we’re sharing, I’m not on the pill.” She spits out as my body tenses as I back up, ready to put her on my lap and spank her ass red. You don’t kid about that kind of shit.

“Really?” Cocking my head at her.

“Yes.” Her voice echoes around my garage.

She’s lying.

I’m starting to be able to read her, it’s not hard. Whenever she’s uncomfortable or doesn’t want to admit something, her voice gets a few decibels louder.

“Well, let’s hope for the best. You know what? I’ll have Rafe pick us up a Plan B pill.” Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I move toward the back entrance.

“Stop it, you wouldn’t dare,” she screams as I push Rafe’s number.

“Don’t worry, he won’t tell anyone,” I call over my shoulder as I leave the door open for her.

He doesn’t even say hello as he answers my call.

“Ammo, do you have any idea how much money I’ve just paid the guard and that fucking security company to get that footage? You finger-fucked Courtney Falcon in a public parking garage? Did we not learn anything from Granger and Gia?” Rafe’s voice floods through my phone. “Actually, this is way worse, Gia was an unknown. Courtney is a fucking pop princess, adored by all…are you out of your mind?” He’s calm, which means he got it, but Rafe despises having to bribe or spend money…probably why his net worth surpasses mine.

“And that is exactly why we pay you the big bucks.” I make my way into the kitchen, not bothering to look back to see if she’s following. I know she is.

“This is unlike you, should I be worried?” His voice is serious.

“Oh my God, hang up.” Courtney runs in front of me, her eyes wide as she covers her mouth, and my eyes trail up and down her form, settling on her face.

Should he be worried?

“Is that really Rafe?” she whispers, almost as if she thinks I’m pretending.

“Courtney wants to say hello.” I hand her the phone, rethinking bringing her here because this has the potential to get messy.

“Are you insane? I’m not talking to anyone.” She shoves it back at me like she’s holding a poisonous apple. Ignoring her, I turn toward the refrigerator, adjusting my erection that’s almost painful against my jeans.

“Ammo, I swear to God—” she hisses as I speak over her, still holding the phone in her hand.

“Just tell him we need a Plan—” She holds up her hand, shaking it frantically at me.

“Hey, Rafe, it’s Courtney.” Her voice is completely fake and going up that notch. “Yeah, I’m just hanging with Ammo…we’re going over today and music…lyrics.” She spins and walks over to my island.

“Don’t forget to tell him to get us a Plan—” I go to grab a beer as she yells over me.

“No, we’re fine, everything is…we’re just making a plan, see you tomorrow.” She hangs up and throws the phone at me, which I catch, since she’s got crappy aim, but I’m done with her tantrums.

“You dick. How dare you…what must he think?” she screams as I set my beer down with a thud.

“That you’re a bad liar…come here, Courtney.” She backs up, but my island stops her.

“Do we need to go over this again?” Power surges through me as I watch her cheeks flush.

“Take me home,” she demands, reaching back to steady herself on my white marble.
